History:

•  1880: The Company was founded by Lewis Young, a resident of the near by Canadian town of Rock Island, formulated an idea to manufacture a wagon axle cutter that would be used to restore worn axles.  Later, Mr. Young formed a partnership with F.D. Butterfield and the new company started to manufacture an inclusive line of cutting tools.


• 1988 : After more than a century of continuous operation, the company became part of Groupe TIVOLY,  a leading European cutting tool manufacturer, with several manufacturing facilities in Europe and China.


• 1994 : Tivoly, Inc. starts to focus on the  Private Label market


• 2002:  Tivoly, Inc. adopts and implements a Private Label Strategy


• 2007: Tivoly, Inc. successfully implemented it's new ERP system
